Consumer Survivor Info Centre - Information for You

We are an information resource centre providing assistance and referral to Consumer/Survivors and others in the Greater Toronto Area. Our organization is operated primarily by staff and volunteers that are consumers of the mental health and/or addiction systems. We offer this service through telephone, email, mail, and face to face. We have a broad range of literature, and information catalogues available to take away.

We also publish a newsletter called The Bulletin twice a month. This is a ten-page newsletter which contains information of relevance to consumer/survivors such as articles, drug warnings, newsbytes, workshops and conferences, job postings and free, low cost things to do in the Toronto area. It also contains submissions from our readers. It is a free subscription and people can receive The Bulletin by mail or by email.

We have a year round, free Tax Clinic for low income Consumer/Survivors, and we can refer others to alternate free tax clinics in Toronto. We hold workshops of interest to the Consumer/Survivor/Ex-psychiatric Patient Community.

A time when people in the GTA affected by mental health and/or addiction challenges have the resources they need to live a full and meaningful life.
